Grogged porcelain with a celadon glaze, fired to cone 10. The red details are actually a green glaze that interacts with the iron in the celadon to turn red. Food safe.
This was supposed to be a gaiwan, but the lid entered the glaze firing and was never seen again. By itself, I guess its a cup. Little nubs to rest your fingers while holding it.
